end of my second year in college
Man...I haven't updated in a while...but that seems to always be the case.
Second year is over...but more importantly finals are over! I'm pretty proud of myself. I think I did really well on my Stats final, but we'll have to see. The speech final was only 15 multiple choice questions, but we had to watch a debate first. Questions were tricky. I'm hoping for a B in that class, an A in Stats, and I know that I have a C in MIS. I wish that I had tried in the beginning of MIS because it really was easy. I started trying half way through the quarter and suddenly I started getting 100 percent on the quizzes and assignments and my midterm score went way up. Oh well. No use feeling sorry for myself. Just have to concentrate on summer quarter. 6 hours of school a day, 4 days a week. The remaining 3 days will be dedicated to work. Maybe I'll add another day of work. *sigh* It's going to be a busy 5 weeks.
I'm at home right now. Good old boring Fremont. At least there's a mall nearby. Sweet, sweet gigantic structures containing stores that make me curse the fact that I have no money.
Why am I awake at this ungodly hour during my vacation? Because my sister’s ride to school didn’t show up and I was the lucky person who had the oh-so fantastic privilege of waking up to drive amongst other frantic parents trying to drop off their kids.
I had to take some time to figure out why on Earth the internet wasn’t working. Turns out you have to actually log in. Silly me.
So today will be a busy one. It’s the 3 year anniversary of Eric and me. A long time. It’s a shame that most of it was spent alone…some would say that the majority of it is just a figment of my imagination. They are right. But I have no other option. I cannot help it if the accident and the separation left me with the feeling of unfinished business and the inability to even consider starting over. I do not want to start over. I liked where I was.
My sister bought this earring. It’s so awesome. These are even cooler though.
I was hoping to get a tattoo today. We’ll see. Phuong is working tonight. But Mike needs to come over and fix whatever is wrong with the other computer.
“Good luck” to those who still have finals to complete. “Have a safe trip” to those who will be making their way home for the summer or are just to visit like myself.
